Our Process
Sampling of Sizes and Qualities
Our quality team is responsible for inspecting all incoming pecans, classifying them based on color, size, and percentage of edible product.
Harvesting of Pecans
We harvest our pecans with certified and approved producers to ensure they meet established quality standards.
High-Temperature Soaking
Approved nuts undergo a soaking process in tanks with both cold and hot water to reduce microbial load.
Shelling
The product moves to our cracking machines, where pistons calibrate it to achieve the desired sizes.
Electrostatic Sorting
The pecans go through an electronic color sorting process, inspection tables, and selection to ensure they are clean, with pleasant colors and the highest quality.
Packaging and Labeling
The selected nuts, approved by our quality department, are packed in food-grade bags of 30 pounds and properly labeled.
Metal Detector
Finally, each box passes through a metal detector to ensure it is free of foreign objects.
Storage
The finished product will be stored in cold rooms until shipment.
